TJPRC: Journal of Oral Surgery and Implantology (TJPRC:JOSI) is a peer reviewed, half yearly, open access journal and it publishes papers of the highest scientific merit and widest possible scope on work in oral Surgery, Implantology and supporting specialties. The aim of this journal is to provide reliable clinical guidance to practitioners to help them make the best decisions possible for their patients. The Journal is divided into sections, ensuring every aspect of oral and maxillofacial surgery is covered fully through a range of invited review articles, leading clinical and research articles, technical notes, abstracts, case reports and others. The sections include: Congenital and craniofacial deformities; Orthognathic Surgery/Aesthetic facial surgery; Trauma; TMJ; Head and neck oncology; Reconstructive surgery; Implantology/Dentoalveolar surgery; Clinical Pathology; Oral Medicine; Research and emerging technologies. The journal encompasses systematic reviews, clinical trials and articles, and case series, with a focus on article quality and substance. Full descriptions and relevant illustrations are included so that clinicians can fully understand all the procedures presented.

Research Articles: These should describe new, carefully confirmed findings, innovative & creative research ideas and experimental procedures should be given in sufficient detail for others to verify the work. The length of a full paper should be the minimum required to describe and interpret the work clearly. It also includes personalized review articles on the research work carried at the author(s)’ laboratory, based on the published work of the author(s). Short Communications: A short communication is suitable for recording the results of complete small investigations or giving details of new models or hypotheses, innovative methods, techniques, creative models etc., The style of main sections need not conform to that of full-length papers. Short communications are 2 to 4 printed pages (about 6 to 12 manuscript pages) in length.
